Meyer Family in 1922
The woman in the checks is Anna "Maggie" Schnoor Meyer; must be a wedding, everyone having a hilarious time (well, mostly.)
Mom (Betty Lou) and I tried to figure names out over the phone today. So far we have:
First picture on the left, she instantly recognized 'Aunt Lena'. The tall man she thinks is Earle. Then Great-grandma. Next picture:
Freddie? Then William, probably. Who's the white haired man? Then George standing behind John M. Ernst.
Freddie again, then great-grandma, then Lena, then "Maggie that got fat", then Earle, then the Ernsts - John M. and Anna Sophia, both looking like they are suffering in dignified silence through all this foolishness.
Aunt Lena could be Lena Meyer m. Asa Potter. Maggie, there are lots of Maggies! George's wife was Maggie. William's daughter was called Maggie, she is the one who married Wiley Reynolds. Freddie's wife was Ellen M.; maybe she was "Maggie" also!
